A Nimbus Claw is a lightweight specialty claw designed specifically to assist with mastitis control. During milking the milk from each quarter is kept separate thus reducing the incidence of cross infection. Each large bore milk inlet is contained in a chamber remote from the others making it almost impossible to cross contaminate.

Nimbus claws are made from strong engineering plastics designed to withstand the rigours of modern dairies. Large bore milk inlets and 19mm milk outlets ensure fast, full milk flow and a stable vacuum environment. Available with or without automatic shut off and in either 4+0 or 2+2 configuration Nimbus claws can have additional weight added if need be.

If mastitis is an issue and you need to achieve better control then considering Nimbus claws may be an option. Nimbus is a plastic claw and whist strong will not respond kindly to excessively rough conditions. Nimbus is better suited to Herringbone installations where a more personal approach to milking is the norm.
