Cleaning a modern milking system using a slug wash system requires powerful air injectors.
Waikato Electronic Air Injectors have been designed with an adjustable chock and variable timing that provides the ultimate flexibility when setting up and adjusting a wash system. The purpose of an air injector is to allow a volume of air to enter the milk-line. The periodic blast from an air injector causes a slug of wash water to surge into the receiver and creates the turbulence needed to properly clean the internal surfaces of the milking equipment.
Waikato Electronic Air Injectors are versatile. They have been designed in a way that allows quick, easy airflow adjustment simply by turning a calibrated bezel. The air intake can be adjusted between 1 and 10 (1000 to 4500Lpm) to cater for the largest milking system and the ON time can be set between 1 and 29 seconds. Installed onto a 32mm stainless steel pipe and wired into a 24VDC power source the Waikato Electronic Air Injector is both compact and powerful. Air injectors typically make noise during the blast phase, a Hush Kit designed specifically to limit the noise without affecting the airflow is fitted over the unit reducing the noise to an acceptable limit.
The power of a large volume air injector is the difference between excellent and average. Your grade status depends on excellent cleaning every time and is something you cannot take for granted. Waikato Electronic Air Injectors have the power and the adjustment flexibility to manage any set of circumstances. When used in a slug wash system you are assured of a great result over and over again.
