Waikato Swinging Arms will work for you today and can be upgraded for tomorrow.

A Swing Arm is designed to assist a milker in many ways. It moves the cluster from side to side in a swing over herringbone and ensures correct cluster alignment at all times. This is important as the consequence of incorrect alignment is usually poor under health and uneven milking. A Waikato Swing Arm does more than this. It can be purchased as a stand alone swing arm or a swing arm with an integrated electronic cup remover and it can be upgrade to SmartD-Tech. It’s the most versatile of its kind in the world.

Typically available in 2+2 configuration a Swing Arm installs easily onto either 32mm galvanised round pipe or 50mm square box section tube. The design is compact and streamline and allows for a 65 deg swing either side of centre. If a cup remover or Smart D-Tect option is chosen the electronic transfer valve or SmartD-Tect pulsator will be mounted separately and a cable run through the arm to an activating paddle switch located on the milk dropper or place more convenient.  AutoStart can be activated through the Swing Arm if specified.

Swing Arm is a practical, robust and useful tool that will transform the operation of a herringbone dairy. It promotes excellent cluster alignment and good udder health while creating clear pit space and an improved work area.
