There are many types of vacuum pumps but only one has a reputation so good it’s now sold exclusively in new Waikato Milking Systems. A Waikato Blower vacuum pump coupled to a Waikato Smart Air variable speed drive produces vacuum on demand responding instantly to the smallest change in milking systems pressure. Four Blower pumps make up a capable range with airflow capacities that enable just one pump to be installed even in the largest dairy.   

A Blower vacuum pump is a positive displacement pump using two tri lobe rotors designed specifically to suit a diary application. With a constant swept volume Blower pumps are ideal as they respond to airflow change instantly when driven by a Waikato SmartAir variable speed drive controller. With an air flow range up to 10,000Lpm @50kPa (BP500) only one pump is required for up to 80 sets of cups. Blower pumps require no oil. The gearbox is greased annually and general maintenance is low.
